“Playing God With Insects” to be released on October 6th
Steven Grabo, a current resident of Florida’s Gulf Coast is better known for his antics with American Idol Underground winners The Misplaced Comedy Group, will be releasing his 3rd solo CD. “Playing God With Insects”, is scheduled for digital release on October 6th, in time for the upcoming Halloween and Election Seasons.
The CD, although mostly guitar driven, maintains elements of a variety of music styles and genres. “I like to keep things moving, without the same beats and meanings behind each of the tunes,” Steve explains.
“Playing God..” definitely hits home on a variety points, starting with the CD cover itself, which shows a child, who could pass as our current President, holding a magnifying glass to a crowd of scurrying people, trying to avoid a beam of light.
Then there are songs “Common” and “Agitprop”, that seem to drive some points across to listeners that the year 2020, really hasn’t been the best for most people. “Playing God For Insects”, may not be for everyone, but like most of the productions Steven Grabo has been involved in, this CD is definitely worth a listen. Especially with some headphones.
